Tribute to the 213th State Legislature
On February 26, immediately following Governor Corzine's Budget Address, NEW JOBS PAC kicked off the 2008 fundraising season with a record breaking reception for the 213th State Legislature at Trenton’s newly renovated Masonic Temple. Event Chair Tim Touhey, Executive Vice President of the NJ Builders Association, greeted 50 State lawmakers (a NEW JOBS event record) and over 150 guests. Thanks to all who attended. See photos.

2007 Election Results
While at the end of the day, changes in overall legislative make-up were minimal, the 2007 legislative election was interesting on several counts. Overall, only three NEW JOBS endorsed candidates lost on Election Day.

Meadowlands "Night at the Races" Legislative Reception
On October 3, the annual Meadowlands "Night at the Races" Legislative Reception concluded a very successful year of NEW JOBS fundraising. This year 23 legislators and legislative candidates attended -- a new record! Event chair Joseph Sanzari, President of Sanzari Companies, hosted the reception. See photos.

Erini’s Restaurant in West Trenton was site of this year’s fifth annual Mercer and Hunterdon Counties Legislative Reception. Guests included State Senators Shirley Turner (D-15) and Len Lance (R-23), Assemblyman Bill Baroni (R-14), Assemblyman Reed Gusciora (D-15), Assemblywoman Marcia Karrow (R-23) and Assemblyman Mike Doherty (R-23). Morris/Sussex Legislative Reception
Sixty-five guests attended the Fourth Annual NEW JOBS Morris/Sussex Legislative Reception held once again in the beautiful Carriage House at Wyeth, Giralda Farms. Host Jim Watkins greeted ten legislators and candidates including Senate Republican Leader Len Lance.

South Jersey Legislative Reception
On May 15, the Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey and the New Jersey Business & Industry Association sponsored the 21th Annual NEW JOBS South Jersey Legislative Reception. Event Chair Bruce Katcher, partner with the law firm Manko, Gold , Katcher & Fox welcomed over 130 guests and 19 State lawmakers and legislative candidates.

Meadowlands “Night at the Races” Legislative Reception
With live thoroughbred horse racing as the backdrop, 110 guests and 13 State Legislators enjoyed a festive evening of fine dining and great networking at this year’s Meadowlands Legislative Reception for North Jersey lawmakers held on October 4th. Legislative Reception
Wet and windy weather did not dampen the spirits of the 30 guests who joined Food Circus Super Markets President Joe Azzolina at Branches in West Long Branch for the Monmouth and Ocean Counties Legislative Reception held on October 11th.
